Memebox #11

I get so excited every time I see the pink bag at the post office behind the counter. Today was definitely not a disappointment, I would say that this box might have been one of the best ones I have received so far. Time will tell how well I like the products, but my initial impressions so far are very good. This box has a $77 value plus whatever the cost for the nail polishes is.

In this Memebox you received the following items:
  • Dear by Entrant Moistfull Booking 65ml (Full size 120ml @ $31)
  • Too Cool For School Dinoplatz Cinema City 10ml (Full size 30ml @ $30)
  • Hope Girl Nail Travel Bing Bling Set of 3
  • Witch's Pouch Radiant Lolli Tint #3 Funky Bloom 2.5g (Full size 4.5g @ $14)
  • Illi Fresh Moisture Body Lotion 100ml (Full size 350ml @ $24)
  • Illi Green Tea Brightening Mask Full Size $3
  • Preterm Botanical Choice Pure Solution Eye Cream 30ml Full Size $34

The first product is a booskin, which is apparently a word made by combining boosters and skin toner, which this product does. It cuts a step out of your beauty routine by both giving hydration and nourishment to your skin, but also boosting the effects of your skin care.
I have not had the chance to put this to great use yet, but my first experience is good so far. It is a bit tingly, matching with the toner effects. It is also a slight bit thicker than regular toners, more of an oil texture without being oily. It is scented, a bit perfume, so if you are sensitive to scented products on your face this may not be the product for you. I do not find the scent strong and I am normally not a fan of scents on my face, but I am looking forward to really giving this product a try. I will probably pair it with the Dream Bounce Cheese Cream by the same company. I have heard many great reviews about this product on its own and paired with the cream.

The second item in this Memebox is the one that I am by far the MOST EXCITED for! I have heard so many things about Too Cool For School Cinema Club Dinoplatz products online (specifically my ladies over at MUT). I wish that all companies put this much effort into their packaging because I am definitely a visual buyer. These little dinosaurs living it up in the city and driving cars made me love this product before even trying it.
After trying the product I think I am going to like this CC cream. It is slightly tinted, on the pink side which is great for me, but it is VERY light (see swatches). I think this will end up being something I will wear under my regular foundation. It claims it will brighten your complexion which I can vouch for. It is very light on the colour level, but quite bright as well. It will definitely make my skin glow. Though it doesn't say if it has SPF or how much, it claims protection against the sun as well as taking care of signs of aging.

Next I received a nail polish trio by Hope Girl. There was a choice of 4 different colour sets: Gold, Pink, Silver (which my friend Lisa received), and blue (which I received). They are a trio of minis and are all sparkles in some degree. They are very sheer, especially the blue I received. The white colour becomes the most opaque after two coats and I think it is probably my favourite of the 3. It claims to be "densely pigmented" which it is not, like I said they are very sheer. BUT, they are fast drying like advertised. I will get some use out of these, they seem like nice little polishes. Beware of the sparkles though! After removing my fingers were covered in them.

The fourth item is this adorable sample of Witch's Pouch Radiant Lollitint. It is around half the full size, so I would call that a deluxe sample despite the size. It is a very bright fuchsia colour with very good staying power. It is a bit of a cross between a gloss and a stain. It stains the lips, but also has a creamy consistency. I believe it to be moisturizing, the only downside is the taste. It has a citrus flavour attempt, but it is masked by an overly perfumy aftertaste. I also do not find this product to be plumping as described, but I don't hold that against it. I will definitely use all this product.

The next two products are made by the same company Illi.

The first is a gentle body lotion that smells like lemons. Online I have read reviews that it is very drying, but I don't find that at all. I find it is fast drying/absorbing. It is very light and, for lack of a better descriptor, watery upon application. Once smoothed in it dries very soft and quickly. Considering I have dry skin on occasion I am always excited to try a new body lotion. This is a very good sized bottle and I will get a lot of use of this over the summer. For those curious, the insert states that this lotion is gentle enough to also use on your face.

The second product is a Green Tea Brightening Sheet mask. I haven't had the pleasure of using this product yet, but am looking forward to it. I am in love with sheet masks! They are so much more efficient than peels or cream masks because you don't have to spend time cleaning up after. I am not sure how well this one will work because it is in two separate sections, one for the top of your face and one for the bottom. It is 100% cotton sheet that is soaked in green tea that "works to revitalize, comfort, and hydrate the skin". I may end up saving this mask for the winter. Who am I joking, no I won't! I already have Mask box #3 purchased and am about to go purchase #4. I'm sure I will have masks for the winter. But on that note, my skin gets very dry in the winter and any sort of hydration would be more than useful.
The last product in the box was a full sized eye cream by Purederm. The insert states that this cream will both prevent water loss and replace lost moisture. It is made with White Flower Complex, Niacinamide and botanical emollients to help make healthy skin. This is a much thicker eye cream than the V7 one found in many other memeboxes. It takes a lot more effort to pat in due to its thickness. I find it will be a good night time eye cream because it leaves the skin greasy and I don't think that would be very conducive to concealer. I have only had the opportunity to use it once so I cannot speak to its results, only its texture at this time. I can say, though, that I prefer the V7 cream as of right now.
